One Fabric Nation – Wander
One Day until Valentine’s Day. I hope you bought everything you needed, because the stores are wiped out!
Here today at the Blue Nickel, we are once again at a #OneFabricNation post. This time featuring Joel Dewberry’s Wander line.
Definitely Wander comes with a Southwestern theme in non traditional Southwestern colors. Pretty much the same color range as his previous line Atrium, just more intense color. Love the little triangles, the little flowers, the large florals. And there are some very nice non-solid solids. LOVE those!
I have this ongoing project where I am making 3″ and 6″ 9-patches. I do not know exactly where this project is going. But it does make for fun playtime and a great way to showcase new lines with very little commitment. Love how the large prints combine with the smaller ones.
And HERE is the Valentine Project that I promised Yesterday. Allison’s original only had 4 hearts, but Linda and I have three kids (no Significant Others or Spouses yet). I wanted the little wall hanging to represent our family more closely. SO I adapted Allison’s project to look like this:
And I also made some little Fabric “buckets” of Love for the kids and Linda – based loosely on these.
Hope your Valentine’s Day is full of Love and Peace and Joy. A little chocolate is always nice too.
Keep Sewing, Keep Happy,
Scott
And don’t forget TOMORROW is the first day of The Splendid Sampler! Get ready!
