Watch It Wednesday!

Watch It Wednesday!

Did you miss Watch It Wednesday last week? By the time I remembered,  it really was too late.  And I almost missed today’s this morning.  I am not sure if I will continue these, but I will try.  Life in general has been rough around here a bit lately.  Without being a “Debbie Downer” as my daughter calls it,  I have been struggling with feeling like a loser.  I know that many of us probably feel like that at times, and after the holidays, I think those feelings get overinflated as well.  I think those feelings are why I have picked this song.  It is a Veggie Tales song and the graphics on this video…..well, not so good….but the song in all its Vegetable Gospel-i-ness helps me to remember that feelings are just that, feelings, and it is NEVER too late to change things for the better….sometimes our choices send us down roads that we’d rather not have traveled, but the NEXT choices could bring something fabulous that we never would have expected.

So join with me in hoping and believing for some great Second and third  and fourth chances in 2012, will you?  And even though I don’t have any prizes or anything, if you have a moment to share, what are your hopes and plans for 2012? What second chances are you hoping for.  Maybe we all can gather our hope together and carry it with us for the coming year.

  • To me every day is a second chance. I am working hard at getting rid of “should of’s” and living each day so I will have no regrets. Grace is new every morning!
(side note… great another Veggie Tales song to get stuck in my head!)

  • I’m hoping for a second chance in 2012! I just can’t watch the video for the same reason as Robyn–I don’t want one of those songs stuck in my head!

  • Every dawn is a second chance. I hope I will have a second chance this year to establish a positive relationship with my son’s girlfriend and to be less judgmental. I wish you blessings in 2012 for health, happiness, and creativity

I am very glad that each day comes with a clean slate! I have been trying to get back to the gym as a regular routine, but I seem to keep putting it off and each day I think that this is the day to do it! It’s a good thing to Hope because if today doesn’t pan out like we want, then there’s always tomorrow to try it again! I like 1 Peter 1 : 3. Wishing you and yours a Wonderful New Year in 2012!!

Oh my goodness-I could have written this post! I am struggling with this too! Thanks for sharing, I don’t feel so alone. I know that this too will pass but for now it feels so real.

Well said Scott. Every day is a new start.
I think this will be my year of re-examining the past…at least thats how it’s started out. Happy 2012 to you and your lovely family and best wishes for your mom.

Well, that was a surprise and mighty cute to bute. I don’t have young kids any longer so have not heard about the veggie tales….. It is only Jan so NONE of us can quit on 2012!
Me, I hope to not have any more therapy… and then to “do” the family reunion 2012 in the middle of no where… but hey they are my cousins and about the only family left…. always something….. yep again, and back to the fabric, sew it goes.
