Aurifil Designer of the Month — June

And It’s June already! For me that means #2 Son just graduated from High School…..the years have gone by so quickly, I can scarcely believe it!

So since it’s June, we have another Aurifil DOM to share! And that Designer is Heidi Pridemore.  Very whimsical designs as obviously indicated by her company name.  Be sure to read Pat Sloan‘s interview with Heidi here.

Her block is called Chain Links. It’s pretty fun, and it has a great second design going on when you make multiple blocks and work them together (I always love that!).  If you check out the interview link above, you will find the
“story” behind Heidi’s block and how they look laid out as a group.

I took a quick photo of my versions of the first six blocks in the grass this morning…not the best light…should have waited just a little bit longer…

I think that for my next few blocks, I need to use some more of the medium and darker prints.  What do you think?
