101: final parting shots from Fidalgo Island

101: final parting shots from Fidalgo Island

This is really it…my 101st post.  Should I have a giveaway?  Oh my, yes, I guess I should.  So I will draw a name from the first 20 people to post on THIS entry.  I won’t draw until I get 20 though, so after you make your comment, you need to let others know about the site and have them at least come over and comment here or you don’t have a chance to win.  Shameless bribery, well, maybe, but that way at least I know that someone is reading!  🙂   And no, I don’t have pictures of the giveaway, but it will be good I am sure.

And now the last shots of our Fidalgo Island trip on the 5th of July!   You now have a LOT of pictures to comment on!

Wildflower I do not know the name of..

Two sided statue Indian/Mermaid statue.

Shots from in town…  Love that chartreuse color!

 These fish pitchers are GREAT!

Mainly I Iiked this shelf unit: I just love RED.     More of that blue/green thing going down here…     great old building…do not know anything about it!

     cool garbage cans

and at the grocery store… a very impressive 4th of July Pepsi display… .. Outside… Don’t they know it rains here?  Especially on the 4th!

  • Sign me up! I just won another giveaway so I’m feeling lucky…

And I love the chartreuse color…I think it’s my fav right now.

Funny story…when I was like 3 and the doctor wanted to see if I knew my colors…I correctly identified something as chartreuse… 🙂 I’m sure he was just thinking green.

  • Congrats on your 101 posting. Please enter me into your drawing. I love the chartreuse also, one of my favorite colors. A couple of yrs. ago I painted my kitchen that very color trimmed out in a deep royal purple. It actually look wonderful, but I did get funny looks when people first seen it.lol

What great pictures. Being a fellow Washingtonian, I should know where Fidalgo Island is located, but I have no idea!

I can’t give you any ideas for your fabric. I’d just mix it up until it looks good to you.

I’ll have to stop by here again.

I like fabric D. Seems to me the background should be the least busy. Good luck and be sure to let us know and see the finished top.
