Hurry up with “Sweetie Pie”.....love it and just can’t wait!! Your design and the fabric
chosen, are just to die for!! Not sure I can hold out much longer, I gotta have it!!
I am new to this blogging thing but I really love what you do with fabric.
I would love to know more about the quilting design you used for Sundae’s Best Quilt using Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane collection. I’m eager to make this as a gift for my soon-to-be born niece. Thanks for any recommendations you can make regarding quilting designs for this wonderful piece!
Hey Kathy,
I really didn’t have a plan for the quilting on this baby, I just quilted a freehand meandering… I just kinda swirl around a bit…For display purposes I did fuse the flaps down, but if I were using it has a baby quilt or anything else that is just laying down, I wouldn’t quilt the flaps down…they are kinda fun just the way they are….(don’t tell my English profs that I used “kinda” in a sentence okay??)
Thank you for posting the downloadable patterns. “The Big Easy” and “Snowflower” have just been moved to the top of my list. I’m trying to breakout of my comfort zone of matching fabrics, and mix scraps with new and just have fun. Your blog is great.
Love your quilts and how colorful they are. Signed up to do your Hollow Cubes class and can’t wait.
Your quilts are just wonderful Scott!
I love your quilts. Love how they are full of color. Thank you for the Free patterns
