166: Wrench it Up!

166: Wrench it Up!

So here is the Monkey Wrench quilt for Be a Man by Douglas Day for Free Spirit.  I have dubbed it “Wrench It Up!”  in honor of the traditional block used.  Busy, but fun..and definitely Manly!

And speaking of being Manly…hows 2 posts in one day…uh-huh, that’s what I am talkin’ about….

Also speaking of Men and Quilting and Monkey Business….My friend Mark Lipinski has been BUSY!  He has a new shop online now as well as two NEW lines of fabric.  The first  line is Elements and you can get that now…Great blenders in a large assortment of colors.   And his newest line that he will be debuting at Market is Oakdale….something that might even appeal to the “country” folk quilters out there.  I know that I am lovin’ it!  Great Job Mark!   Well, guess there was no “monkey” in that, but who knows, Mark probably has a picture of a monkey on his website somewhere!   (I thought I could make direct link’s to Mark’s shop and all, but it doesn’t seem to be doing what I want, so just go to his site through the shop link and mosey around his site…its always interesting on Pickle Road!)

Now back to sewing and more prep for Market and Mother’s Day for Linda (who will inform me that I need to be done with all this prep work by Sunday…so I best get ‘er done!!)
