Wish upon a Card Postcards

Happy April! Today’s photos are my Wish upon a Card Postcards for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show this summer. They may be the only post you will see from me directly this month. The end of this post will explain why!  🙂

This years Wish Upon a Card Postcards:

Another tree. Last year, the improv tree that I made based on my popular Painted Forest quilt was sold in the Wish Upon a Card silent auction at Quilters Affair right away. That delighted me so much! So I have decided that every year, I  will make a new one-of-a-kind improv mini Painted Forest Tree for this fundraiser!

This one I call “Flat-top the Orange Tree”….

And then here is the little blue house – I did not get a very good shot of the little lace flowers, but they are incredible. And yes, I bought them, I did not make them.

So these are now in the very capable hands of Myrna and her crew at High Desert Frameworks who will get them framed and matted beautifully for the auction. I love seeing all of the postcards created by the teachers at Quilters Affair. Maybe this year I will even bid on one!

Now, For The Rest of April ….

I am crazy busy this month. This post was as brief as I could make it as I am  TRYING to get ready for later this morning. That is when the Sample Yardage for Tie One On arrives. And then I have to get snapping! I have at least 4 quilts to make in the next 5 weeks — including getting them to the long-arm quilters I have lined up. And then sew booth curtains and other non-quilty things. I have many helpers in place creating some quilts and clothes and bags and pincushions, etc. Including Linda who will be sewing all of the clothes we make for Market.  I may be pretty quiet on Social Media for awhile. Except for Instagram. I am always there!

Lots to Do!!

Keep Sewing, Keep Happy,

Scott
