1000+ Giveaway – Thank YOU!

1000+ Giveaway – Thank YOU!

Howdy howdy!

Yeah,  I have been planning to post today’s post probably TWO months ago, maybe longer. I wanted have a huge giveaway to thank everyone who has helped me make it to 1,000 likes on my Blue Nickel Studios Facebook page AND over 1,000 followers on my Instagram page. AND NOW you have given the Blue Nickel FB page over 1,100 likes and the Instagram page has over 1,200 followers.

I wanted to celebrate. So I made this BIG bundle of stuff to give away to one lucky winner. All sorts of stuff from the studio. Some new, some used, some old (but never used). There’s a mix. I’ve collected items from various companies and saved this and that.  I have thrown in a printed copy of every one of my first eight patterns (that alone is an $80 retail value) There’s cool stuff and weird stuff and all sorts of in-between stuff. I hope the winner enjoys it all!

All you need to do to win this big prize pack is comment here about what you like best about stopping by the Blue Nickel. If you are new, then let me know how you found me!

Also please note that my blog “remodel” still has a few construction phases to go through. I am slowly working on those. Thank you for your patience.

So Comment Away! I look forward to hearing what you have to say.  I will do the drawing next weekend most likely and send an email to the winner.

Keep Sewing, Keep Happy,

I enjoy reading about your process and you have definitely introduced me to books and ideas that I haven’t seen elsewhere. My machine quilting has come along slowly, but I can piece a quilt all day and enjoy the process. My sit-down Viking Platinum 16 feels a little neglected. Congratulations on reaching 1100 followers.

Originally I believe I found myself here because of a giveaway, which is how I find many of the blogs I follow. However I don’t follow a blog via email just to enter a giveaway. When I decided to follow you via email I was first impressed by your quotes on the home page, yes I’m a quote junkie. I then browsed through your shop and loved your patterns, Twister in particular. I am always in aww of the talent I find on blogs and your blog is no exception. I am learning to quilt and hope to someday be able to put colors together well. Have a wonderful day!

I like visiting your blog because I love your eclectic style. The way you put diverse fabrics together is surprising and beautiful. I can’t remember how I found your blog – I’ve been following you on Bloglovin for a long time. I do remember seeing an article in Gen Q – maybe that’s when I met your work. Anyway, thanks for all the eye candy and inspiration!

  • Lori Ferreri

I found you through Gen Q. I am inspired by your mix of colors. I am slowly moving away from the traditional Matchy-Matchy quilts and putting more emotion into my quilts. Not just following the pattern/rules! Thanks for the stimulus!!!

I started reading your blog a couple years ago I believe, I found it one day while I was blog surfing. I knew right away your blog was different than the ‘rest’. There is something about the way you write that intrigues me, I like your perspective. You showcase a very cool assortment of fabrics and I enjoy seeing how you incorporate them into projects. I find it rather inspiring. You also have some very awesome ‘giveaways’ 🙂 The best part is I feel your excitement and passion for the quilting industry in your posts which in turn gets me excited and motivated! Thanks!
