One Fabric Nation! Atrium Part II

One Fabric Nation! Atrium Part II

One-Fabric-Nation-logo1

First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has sent so many kind words, cards, and prayers regarding the loss of my mother from this planet.  I have my good days and bad days. I will be missing her the rest of my life, and I will be talking more about her here down the road. Her story is part of my story, I look forward to sharing those bits with you….

Okay, now on to playing Catch Up! As always!

Today I bring to you part two of the Joel Dewberry Atrium Post. The fun part. The GIVEAWAY part!
Yup, I will show you another little project (well actually a couple blocks for a quilt, no time to finish the whole project) that I worked up with Joel’s new Atrium Line.

I thought it would be fun to make up a couple of blocks from my Twister Pattern.

Twister Cover Photo

Because the line is so summery and pastel-y, I thought it would be fun to see how different a couple blocks would look in Atrium because the original Twister blocks were worked up in bright novelties and dark greys and blacks.

The nice thing about these blocks is that they are 16″ finished.  You could make one block, add a quick border to it, quilt  it up and make a fresh new pillow cover for an 18″ pillow form (not the best lighting in the photo above.)

And now for the fun part!  Free Spirit has generously given two Fat Quarter packs to give away to some lucky readers.  And I think we will do this like last time, one Fat Quarter pack to a comment on this post and the other pack to a comment made on my Instagram feed. Be sure to make sure you follow me on Instagram so that I can get hold of you if you win.

I will also send a Downloadable PDF of my Twister Pattern to both winners in case they want to go ahead and make the whole quilt from their winnings!

So comment away. I will draw names this weekend sometime and get emails out soon after.

AND I have two other Free Spirit lines to talk about this month. Let’s hope I can get them both in October!

Talk to you later,

Keep Sewing, Keep Happy,

Scott

We wouldn’t be who we are without our Mothers one way or another. Lost mine nearly 10 years ago but she’ll always be with me. On another note, I find Joel’s fabric lines are always colorful and full of cool patterns.
