Christmas books 2.1 ….

Christmas books 2.1 ….

Okay, so yes this is probably TOO late for you to get these books for THIS holiday season by mail order, but you might be able to get these at your local bookstore and still get some good stuff from them! I just got them here a week and a half ago myself, and I have been struggling with the time to get the pictures taken, resized, cropped, and posted in a somewhat logical order.

Both are produced by the fabulous people at Country Living and both are chock full of  marvelous Christmas cheer.

The first one is Deck the Halls, and it is full of ideas AND “activity pages” which bring me back to my early childhood when I loved those little punch-out diorama books.  This one has gift tags and ornaments and napkin rings and stickers and recipe cards and place setting cards and gift boxes and more and more. Plus some great decorating ideas and recipes.

And then there is The Farm Chicks Christmas by Serena Thompson, which is just pure Christmas Eye Candy as my lovely wife put it.
It has less “crafty” activities, but it is much heavier on the photographs and decorating ideas.  Much Heavier. The photography is sublime in this one! It also has recipes and in the back ….just a few gift tags and recipe cards too!
