253: Happy Like a Zombie

253: Happy Like a Zombie

I know, I started cleaning up around here, and I have quite a few older posts that I wanted to post, but I really wanted to quickly share this project with you.  My friend Monica, the Happy Zombie, designed this bag pattern for  the Fall 2010 issue of Quilts and More.  I tell you they are ADDICTIVE…I really had no time to make them, but after I made the first three, I am seriously delighted with this idea….

I wish I had gotten more pictures, but right as I was going for more, the battery went down, and I needed to get going, so this is what you get for now…..but don’t worry, you will see more of these in the future.  Locally, I am going to look  into teaching how to make these in a class…if you are in the area NE of Seattle and want to know when and where, just drop me a line at bluenickel5 (at) earthlink (dot) net.  Monica’s have just a solid panel…but you know me and scraps, I just had to scrap it up a bit….

Don’t forget that the previous two posts (here and here) each have prizes being given away this week, so be sure to comment on both posts.  And if you do drop on over at Monica’s blog…tell her hi for me…(and you should go there, because she seriously has one of the BESTEST blogs around!!)

  • Oh Scott I LOVE the scrappy versions you did!! They are fabulous, and the fabric handles too. Mine look so boring now 🙂 They really are the greatest little bags. I told Monica I’m using my to “wrap” gift cards. They are just the right size and are super green packaging.

  • Those scrappy ones look great, wish I was near there to take a class but the commute would be not fun.
