ATC cards

ATC  Artist Trading Cards …..I think I have been bitten by this bug…what I like about it is the “play” factor and the size….doesn’t take that long to create an unusual and interesting piece of art….I also like the mixed media part of it…..Life is like that isn’t it?   a series a little vignettes that we have a choice to make art or garbage out of …..everyday….oh my, that is waxing TOO metaphysical isn’t it????????

Valentine ATC’s for a class I am teaching at Ben Franklin’s in Monroe…..Class is February 12th…..valentine atc set of 3.jpg  These were very fun for me to do…Only one person is signed up for class so far (1.21.08) so I may not be teaching if I don’t have more students. It is a pretty cheap class ($10) I think, and mostly just a quick, fun time learning to just be creative….

single Zetti 4”x4” swap with Original Youth from the www.ATCards.com site….

this was the one I sent to her.. zetti 4x4 front.jpg  the front and zetti 4x4 back.jpg  the back.

Christmas ATC’s for swap 2007….christmas atc.JPG  these go out this week…they were to be of fabric and be “sparkley”.....

tree experi.jpg   Green swap cards….the picture to the left was a photo from our yard altered to be surrealistic: I used this tree as the backing on the green card swap…...below are the cards that I turned into the swap….September 2007

green atc 4.jpg  green atc 1.jpg  green atc 2.jpg  green atc 3.jpg these are the fabric ones that I did….I actually added quite a bit to these before I sent them, but I didn’t have a chance to scan them before they had to leave for Illinois….

green atc 5.jpg  green atc 6.jpg   green atc 7.jpg  green atc 2.1.jpg  green atc 2.2.jpg  green atc 2.3.jpg green atc 2.4.jpg

green atc 2.5jpg.jpg  green atc 8.jpg  these are the remaining green cards that I swapped….they are all based on pictures that I took of myself flexing my arm and then altered in the computer, printed on card stock, and then further altered by gluing and sewing “stuff” on them…..it was great fun to do….especially using the “bulge” option in my photo program on my bicep…. :) :)  just a little photo cosmetic surgery   and I just did it a little bit, really….

Zetti swap August/September 2007….these are the cards that I sent into be swapped below:

zetti atc1.jpg zetti atc11.jpg  zetti atc2.jpg zetti atc.set two .1jpg.jpg  zetti atc.set two .2.jpg zetti atc.set two .3.jpg  zetti atc.set two jpg1.jpg

These were also great fun to do…this was my first swap….they are also shown in my gallery seciton all together…

If you still are into ATC, would you like to trade with me? I’ve just started doing them, although I’m a veteran on exchanging fabric postcards. I like your blog, chatty and fun.

Great, I would love to trade ATC cards!  I will email you privately.   THANKS for dropping by the Blue Nickel.  Come back now, ya hear?
