Dear Stella – Net and Enchanted

Dear Stella – Net and Enchanted

Jessica at Dear Stella let me have these two bundles at the end of Last Fall’s Quilt Market in Houston. I took these pictures right after Market with every intention of playing with the fabric in November or December sometime.

I totally fell in love with the little houses hiding in the flowers and all of the sweet little woodland creatures.

And Net makes for some great textured “solids” right?

Well I never got to playing with it until last week!! So as fabric “review” it’s a bit late to the party. On Dear Stella’s website I only see two of the Enchanted prints left, but it looks like most of the Net prints are still there (it’s a great Basic!). Maybe you will be able to find it in your local shop still?

Here’s what I created with some of the fat quarters that I played with. Four Soup of the Day blocks — Two blocks of which I made into “chunky” soup by forgoing the 9 patch in the middle. Please pardon the loose threads!!    My Soup of the Day Pattern is for sale as a downloadable PDF here.

I just love this line and Dear Stella has some new lines coming out this spring that remind me of it.

So be on the lookout for Foxtail Forest and The Big Chill – They are somehat similar to this line even though I am pretty sure they are done by different artists.

Keep Sewing, Keep Happy,

Scott
