Fibs and Fables Giveaway! One Fabric Nation

Fibs and Fables Giveaway! One Fabric Nation

And here’s another giveaway for the end of the year! Aren’t these fun? I love reading all of your comments!

Today’s giveaway will be two fat quarter bundles of Fibs and Fables by Anna Maria Horner.

And again, at least for this round, let’s do one bundle given away to a commentor here on the blog and one bundle to a commentor on the picture of the bundles that will be on my Instagram account. You Blog peeps are getting the first crack, as this post will be posting before I can get the post up on IG. I am doing this one remotely for early this morning and then later when I wake up today, if I remember, I will IG the drawing there. I’ll try to write myself a note. I’ll probably remember. Probably.

And I know how you Blog peeps can comment to win! Please click on this link to yesterday’s post and comment on THIS post with a name for the doll pictured in that post.  Did I make that perfectly confusing?? I hope not! I will draw the winner on Christmas Eve morning.  So watch your email on Christmas Eve to see if you are a winner!  (Please also make sure your email is in the appropriate box on the comment form – no need to put your email in the body of the comment)

Here’s one more little sample of the line cut up and worked into projects. Some simple little scrappy 9-patches and MORE of these little bags that I love to make! (Mine are a little variation of the originals. Mine are 5 1/2″ wide instead of 6 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ high instead of 5 1/2)  I hope you don’t get tired of these bags, I never do. This time I used some leftover ribbons as the handles. It was simple and faster than making handles from the fabric, and it used up the scrap ribbons. They just happened to be Navy (mostly) which was a perfect match.

So go ahead and comment here as in the above instructions. I will draw the winner randomly, so just give me a name for the doll no matter what. If she ends up being Bob – That will be her name.  It’s totally up to chance! And your comments – You can’t win if you don’t enter.

Keep Happy, Keep Sewing,

Scott

Ok, the first name that came to mind was Lois. I think she’s the kind of person/elf that would make any gathering interesting, who would say quirky things and bounce from topic to topic with seemingly no connection in between. I tried to think of a more interesting name for her because she is obviously an interesting elf, but nothing but Lois stuck. 🙂 I hope she doesn’t end up being Bob — although you could always call her Bobbie! 🙂

Maybe I goofed! I left my comment on the other page, but will repeat it here just to make sure! I think you should name her after my 11 day old granddaughter, Hadarah. It is Hebrew for beautiful, Actually her whole name is Hadarah Féirín Iris Ober
which means Beautiful Gift of Hope and Redemption On a Hill.
