shall we have some winners??

shall we have some winners??

Okay! It’s Winners’  Circle Time! Well, it shoulda, coulda, woulda been Winners’ Circle Time awhile ago, but I have been so busy since my last post, I have barely had time to get in here….(it does seem though that I had plenty of time to commit Kronos-cide on Facebook and surfing the web….sigh)

Anyhoo, without further ado, here are the winners:

The winner of the Tim Holtz Grunge Fabric Scrap Pack is:

Patty who wrote on 2013/05/19 at 7:40 am

These fabrics are fantastic! Love the way you set them together! Can’t believe how much you get finished, along with your dayjob.

And the winner of my Post Market Pack is:

I would love anything you want to give away! Love your blog and your quilting inspirations!

I will be writing both of you shortly for your mailing addresses.

So with that little bit being out of the way,  I have just a enough time to throw in the necessary photo to make my post a REAL post.

Here are the starts of TWO of the many projects that I have been starting on in the almost clean studio.  I cannot tell you how exciting it is to work in there when I actually have room to walk around.  These are for two different magazine projects coming up…. one of them won’t be until next year! That’s how far out these things get booked sometimes!

Also note in the upper right hand corner, the newest Amy Grant CD, How Mercy Looks From Here.  This CD is currently filling my mind with almost 3 decades of memories.  One of my very first Christian albums was her Age to Age LP, and like Amy, my life has been through quite a few changes over those 30 years.  (Can it really be THAT many years?? I remember thinking 30 years old was OLD then…now I am beyond 18 AND 30….yikes!)   Anyway, Amy’s work in this CD is just phenomenal I think, and it really speaks to our world and how life changes in ways we never know or expect — sometimes good, sometimes not so great, but always richer…..and always, ALWAYS…..God loves us through all of those changes.

  • Oh, I want to get Amy’s new album too! I think I sang every song on “Age To Age” at church when I was a child. I remember meeting her on that tour when she came through Eugene. She was a major inspiration for me wanting to “sing for Jesus”. Her music is definitely sewing music, as in music I can sing to while sewing. Happy.
Thanks for posting about it. And also congrats to the goodies winners.
