I forgot to mention that I love the thread spools on your blog page. When I was young, Belding Corticelli was only sold in finer fabric shops and I used it to sew my wedding dress thirty eight years ago.

So Becky and Katie please  drop me a line giving me your snail mail addresses at bluenickel5 (at) earthlink (dot) net , and I will pop those in the mail next week for you!!

Thanks to everyone who dropped in to win and those who signed up for Bari’s subscription as well as the Blue Nickel subscription.

And here are a few pictures to inspire you for this October weekend:

Our sweet “Bad Baby” who was gone for over a week and came back much to our delight…

Last week was beautiful weather here, these are some pictures of a storm that gathered around us, but settled elsewhere.   I love the light playing on the trees against the dark foreboding clouds!

I have more pictures from that day that I will share later, but for now I will say ….

  • ooo I can’t wait to see storm clouds that one day a year we get them…thanks for the pics!

  • You have my cat…or one like I have been wanting to get….isn’t that funny. We both would have a grey tiger cat? Great minds think alike!
